So glad Rickards Transportation got to be a part of this year's Super Motocross Championship! It all kicked off in North Carolina, where I had the chance to bring my daughter and wife along. Even though this was for motocross, being back at the speedway sent me down memory lane. Watching my daughter experience something so close to home was incredible. It reminded me of my own childhood, spending time at the speedway with my mom and late grandma. She followed the racing scene while working at the food shack, forming friendships with the racers. I still remember how she would count points for Bobby Labonte and even babysat Dale Earnhardt Jr. To all the racers, she was simply known as the beloved little old lady at the tracks. Sharing this experience with my family felt like a full-circle moment, and it was an absolute joy to create new memories together while honoring the past.
After North Carolina, we hit the road to Dallas Fort Worth and wrapped up the championships at Las Vegas Speedway. A huge shout out to the amazing team at Feld—it was such a pleasure working alongside you all to bring these events to life in each city!
